From July 27th to 30th, Cao Hongming, member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, deputy chairman of the Overseas Chinese Committee of the National People’s Congress, and vice chairman of the Zhigong Party Central Committee, led a research team to investigate the construction of Jiangxi’s inland open economic pilot zones in Nanchang, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, etc. And its integration into the new domestic and international dual-cycle development pattern, for the preliminary investigation of the "China Development Forum 2021" to be held in Nanchang.

During the investigation, Cao Hongming met with Yin Meigen, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, and Chen Xingchao, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department.

Cao Hongming believes that Nanchang and Ganzhou, relying on their geographical advantages and resource endowments, have formed their own characteristics in seizing development opportunities, innovating development ideas, and promoting high-quality development. As an inland province, Jiangxi Province has to learn from the experience of the developed eastern regions in terms of economic development, and it also needs to develop a unique way.
